Whether your at the beginning of your Pilates journey, or perhaps you are looking for a studio to challenge you, both physically and mentally. You may be rehabilitating an injury, just had a baby, or have a little one on the way. Our classes are delivered by a passionate team of highly qualified instructors, they will guide you on your journey to tone, transform and invest in your best-ever body, mind & soul.

Our Signature Classes

  • Our Barre classes are designed combining elements of Pilates, strength training, cardio intervals and ballet inspired dance moves to create a dynamic though low impact workout. You will increase your strength and endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, all with a focus on stretch and lengthening the core for that highly sort after ballerina posture. Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced dancer or if you can be a little uncoordinated at times, our classes are for everybody!

    – Medium intensity/low impact.

    – Suitable for beginners.

    – Light weight and simple equipment.

    – High repetitions with small range of movement.

    – Focus on toning butt, legs, torso and arms to elongate muscles.

    – Incorporates signature barre moves with elements of strength training, Pilates and ballet inspired dance moves.

  • Pilates is a low to medium intensity/low impact class that incorporates traditional mat Pilates based on the original exercises developed by 'Joseph Pilates' alongside contemporary Pilates exercises.Focus on strengthening the body's 'Powerhouse', a traditional Pilates term that refers to your abdominal s, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes.

    This class is suitable for pregnancy/post pregnancy, injury rehabilitation and managing, overcoming and preventing lower back pain.

    – Low to medium intensity/low impact.

    – Suitable for beginners.

    – Lightweight and simple equipment may be used.

    – Medium repetitions with small range of movement.

    – Strong focus on strengthening the core and elongating muscles.

  • Get your sweat on with this strength building and toning, cardio full body workout. Incorporating various Pilate’s equipment and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in a circuit style format, this class is a mid - high intensity workout suited to individuals with at least a reasonable level of fitness and injury free.

    – Medium/high intensity - Medium impact

    – Not suitable for beginners.

    – Light weight and simple equipment.

    – Great for individuals wanting to improve their cardiovascular fitness

    – Focus on toning butt, legs, torso and arms to elongate muscles.

    – Circuit style format

  • The Pilates Suspension Method is taking Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Chair exercises to the TRX. This whole body workout will have you working up a sweat and challenge those stabilizing muscles while suspended! Focus on strengthening the body's 'Powerhouse', a traditional Pilates term that refers to your abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes. (not recommended for our prenatal clients or beginners to Pilates)

    – Medium intensity/medium impact.

    – Pilates experience recommended

    – TRX Suspension straps used as primary equipment

    – Recommended for individuals wanting to advance their Pilates practice and further strengthen muscles

  • Imagine floating weightless in a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling as you flow freely through the space performing weightless Yoga moves and poses, under the careful and guided instruction of our skilled instructors. Flow deeper into stretches and holds whilst the silk hammock cradles your body providing much needed support, allowing gravity to slowly decompress joints and provide length to your spine.

    – Low to medium intensity/no impact.

    – Exercises performed in a silk hammock.

    – Focus on strength and flexibility without the added pressure on your shoulders, spine or head.

    – Stretch and lengthen the core.

    – Yoga and Aerial Yoga in-particular is promoted as benefiting emotional, psychological and spiritual health.

  • Pilates + Boxing + HIIT

    BACK ON THE TIMETABLE SOON

    Boxing gives the intensity you need to feel like you have done a solid heart-racing workout and the Pilates works on areas that perhaps could never normally target with traditional classes.

    Using boxing pads and gloves - or wrist weights for lower impact, you'll combine short boxing drills and cardio intervals with functional movement and finishing with exercise on the Pilates mat.

Reformer Flow

A dynamic reformer Pilates class with lots of fluidity and flow to tone your body and give you a feeling of strength and freedom.

Suitable for beginners and those with injuries

Reformer FIT

A fast passed reformer Pilates class. Expect to tone up and sweat as you move through a strong and fun sequence of exercises. Think compound movements, which add elements of cardio to get the heart rate up.

Suitable for beginners

Reformer Strength

sky barre’s newest Reformer Class, combining traditional and functional reformer movements with various props on and off the reformer for a Total body focus. It will give you the chance to place more load on your muscles in certain exercises for greater adaptation without the ‘gym’ style weights, allowing a greater Pilates inspired muscle recruitment and response.

Aerial Hoop

If you have been wanting to challenge yourself, learn a new skill or just have fun with a small group of amazing people, then you must experience Sky Barre's unique Aerial Hoop classes. Our class levels are from beginner to intermediate and advanced.

Learn various techniques to enter and gracefully exit the hoop along with conditioning, strength and flexibility exercises. Sequence your poses into a beautiful routine performed to music.
